Beregrinatores ('wanderers') are magi who do not belong to a registered conventum. Unlike some Tribunalia, Germania has no vagrancy proscription, much the opposite. Hospitality for peregrinatores is codified in Leges Perepheria Germaniae, and any magus may claim hospitality under the terms established for such by each conventum.

Some magi do not claim peregrinator status, but live separate from registered conventa, rarely interacting with other magi. Since Germania has no vagrancy provisions, such magi are well within their rights to live as they wish.

Known peregrinatores include:

  LeleLele Bjornaer
  PolelePolele Bjornaer
  GauziaGauzia Criamonis
bald woman with strange welts on her scalp and neck, wearing a brown hooded robe

  SibertusSibertus Merinitae
vagabond-looking fellow dressed in a tunic and leggings that are well-worn and roughly patched in places, with a worn leather belt and sheathed dagger

Hospitalitas

from the proceedings of Tribunal Germaniae, 831 AD

"A magus may request hospitality from any registered conventum Tribunalis Germaniae. The conventum must formally publish the conditions of hospitality, which, if agreed to by the magus, guarantee him at least three, but no more than seven years as guest at the conventum.

Conditions of hospitality must be the same for all guests currently in residence, but may otherwise be changed by a conventum if no guests currently reside at that conventum. Guest magi are entitled only to that which is granted in the conditions of hospitality, and must agree to its strictures, which must include - but are not restricted to - a fee of three pawns of vis each year paid to the host conventum."

Later rulings granted that a season of service could be substituted for a fee of vis.
